Who is Jesus?

Jesus is the eternal Son of God who was made flesh (John 1:1, 14) through the miraculous virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14 and Matthew 1:18-25).

His mission on this earth was to secure for humanity a right standing before God through his substitutionary death on the cross because of mankind's sin giving mankind access to God (John 14:6 and Hebrews 9:23-28).

The Bible teaches that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). It also says that the "wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23). However, "God demonstrated his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8). For those who "confess with their mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in their heart that God has raised him from the dead, they will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Saving faith is evidence through repenting of sin and surrendering to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Romans 10:13 says that "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Have you trusted the Lord Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior? If not, why not? What's keeping you from surrendering to the Lord?

If you are ready to make that decision, pray to God admitting that you are a sinner, confessing and repenting (turning away) of your sins, believing by faith that Jesus was crucified for your sins and rose again for your justification, and surrendering to the Lordship (master) of Jesus Christ.

It is so very important to get involved in a local church to help you grow as a Christian. Find a church that believes the Bible is God's Word "without any mixture of error" as you seek to serve the Lord in that church.
